# Other cultural

Grab a free copy of [East Bay Express](https://www.eastbayexpress.com/) wherever you see it. Their events page is chock full of great stuff to do. [Fun Cheap SF](https://sf.funcheap.com/events/east-bay/) also posts fun, cheap, and sometimes free events all over the Bay Area. <br>

[Hoodslam](https://www.birdswillfall.com/) is a weekly amateur, WWE-style wrestling event at Oakland Metro Operahouse. It’s, um, an event. Read the [description](https://www.facebook.com/events/531404707437034/) for an upcoming event to get an idea.<br>

Sign up for a free Berkeley Public Library card to use their [Discover and Go](https://berkeleypubliclibrary.discoverandgo.net/) program, which gives you access to free passes to amazing venues throughout the Bay Area, including:
